Classroom is almost ready!

We are so looking forward to seeing you next week! Mrs. Jessica, Mrs. M., Mrs. Cleveland and I have been busy organizing the classrooms. I hope you are practicing putting on your new shoes and getting your school bag ready!

Getting Ready for September

Hello boys and girls,
Guess who came to visit today? Mrs. M! We will be working together in September and can't wait to meet all of our little friends!

We hope you are having a good summer! Don't forget to practice writing your name and packing your lunch kit as well as breaking in those new shoes!

Almost August!

Oh my! The summer is going by so fast! I recently learned how to make Spot It games on the computer. I am so excited. I know how much our students love Spot It. I made 3 different games so far....a Back to School one, a Fall one and a Halloween one! I can't wait for you to try these out! I think I might make a Math one today!

Oh my! What a warm week it's been! If you get too warm, just remember when we were playing on the big snow hills in the yard!

Did you see and hear the hail storm last night? In French, hail is la grêle. I hope you weren't outside camping in a tent!

I love summer. Every morning, I go pick raspberries on the raspberry bush at the side of the house. Great mid-morning snack! Have you been raspberry picking?

I hope you're having lots of fun this summer! I went book shopping last night and bought some new books.

The new Pigeon book is hilarious! I think you will like it!

I've started painting some peg dolls for retelling stories. I'm not done yet. Can you guess who these two characters will be? Hint: they are friends with Pigeon....

Hello girls and boys,
I hope you're having a great Canada Day! I celebrated by making some rhubarb jelly to have with my toast in the morning. Yummy! I made the jelly with my Mom.
The rhubarb in my garden is still pretty small but I managed to have almost enough to make 3 1/2 jars of jelly!
Did you go to any celebrations today? Did you see the Snowbirds fly by?

PS - someone left their green yoga mat in the classroom. We are keeping it safe until September for you.:)
